COACH will release a new Heritage Baseball Collection in June. A departure from last year's colorful collection, this year's lineup features chic colors like black, fawn, and parchment. Items include the ever-popular coin wallet (¥28,000) and zip wallet (¥40,000), as well as a leather baseball cap (¥30,000), a Bleecker baseball bat (¥39,000), a Bleecker baseball glove (¥40,000), and a leather baseball jacket (¥157,000). Each piece comes with a baseball-shaped hand tag, and the coin wallet and zip wallet feature baseball stitching. Since the brand's inception, Coach has been creating leather goods inspired by leather, which, like a baseball glove, becomes more supple with use. This collection, marking its fourth year, marks the brand's roots. When the company was founded, it used the same cowhide leather as the gloves worn by major leaguers like Ted Williams and Joe DiMaggio, but later developed its own leather material known as "Glove-Tanned Leather." Today, the company uses an even more advanced "Retro Glove-Tanned Leather."
