The Ritz-Carlton Osaka (Address: 2-5-25 Umeda, Kita-ku, Osaka) will be collaborating for the second time with Wedgwood, the porcelain brand that is a supplier to the British Royal Family, to offer "Welcome to Wedgwood Afternoon Tea ~Welcome to tea on the high seas~" in The Lobby Lounge on the first floor from July 1 to August 31, 2021.

The Wedgwood Afternoon Tea was first held last year and was a huge success. This year marks the second anniversary of the event, and is based on the WEDGWOOD theme of enjoying tea time freely and in your own way through the four rules of "Indulge / Create / Be yourself / Entertain." Fabien Martin, who was appointed Executive Pastry Chef of The Ritz-Carlton Osaka in April, has completely revamped the menu, offering six new sweets and four savory dishes that complement WEDGWOOD's "Sailor's Farewell" series. Served on a "Sailor's Farewell" plate featuring a pale blue linen canvas and embroidered designs of red sailboats and sea creatures, the sweets include vibrant, summery items such as macarons adorned with vibrant floral patterns, a lemon cake finished with a refreshing blue chocolate plate reminiscent of the ocean, and a carrot cake topped with the WEDGWOOD logo. The savory dishes feature seafood such as shrimp, octopus, and scallops, embodying the world of "Sailor's Farewell." You can also choose a Wedgwood Signature Tea to enjoy with your afternoon tea.
In The Lobby Lounge, which evokes the atmosphere of an aristocratic British mansion, you can enjoy your afternoon tea in your own style, surrounded by sophisticated Wedgwood tableware.
