Starting from August 24th, Frederic Cassel will be offering a collection of sweets, including "Chestnut" and "Caramel & Apple," to herald the arrival of autumn.
On sale from August 24th until the end of January 2017 will be "Chataigne" (450 yen), a single Japanese chestnut enclosed in their prized pie crust made with French AOC butter. The elegantly sweet Japanese chestnut is combined with the rich, sweet flavor of French chestnut paste to create a rich and flavorful flavor.
From September 1st to the end of November, "Mont Blanc Jour" (800 yen) will also be available, featuring a luxurious harmony of meringue texture, light Chantilly, and rich, sweet chestnut cream, topped with blackcurrant compote. Also starting from September 1st, "Cake Caramel Pomme" (1,200 yen) will be on sale. This cake combines a moist, baked cake with the richness and bitterness of caramel, juicy dried Fuji apples from Aomori Prefecture, and adds a touch of walnuts.
Furthermore, starting from September 3rd, "Mille-feuille Caramel Pomme" (800 yen), an autumn-only flavor of Frederic Cassel's signature mille-feuille, will be available. It combines the richness of caramel and sweet and sour apples with a crispy caramelized pie crust.
