Kyoto-based kimono and textile manufacturer HINAYA KYOTO has published a kimono styling zine (booklet) called "Oatsurae." The zine features 12 styling themes, primarily featuring the company's ready-to-wear kimono brand "mitasu+," which uses Japanese textiles. Each photo is accompanied by an explanation from stylist Sota Yamaguchi and kimono dresser Eriko Otake. The art direction was handled by Masaya Muto of NO DESIGN, which also collaborates with ANREALAGE. Models include Kanoko, Minami Mitsushima, Yuuki Maeda, Ryo Maeda, and comedian Naoki Matayoshi of the comedy duo Peace. The zine is available at HINAYA Kyoto's Kiyomizu-Gojozaka main store, the kimono department on the 7th floor of Isetan Shinjuku, Mikiri Hasshin, and Pyaruko. 525 yen.
