Fendi releases short film "Adele's Dream" celebrating the new Selleria

Jul 1, 2013

FENDI has released a short film, "ADELE'S DREAM," focusing on the best-selling "ADELE" bag from its newly redesigned iconic SELLERIA series.

ADELE'S DREAM - The Movie

The film, which filmmaker Luca Guadagnino describes as a "thriller of desire," has a mysterious, dreamlike atmosphere. It features a woman named Adele and the new Adele model, the "Adele 1328." Following her footsteps, the film looks back on Rome from 1925 to 2013.

The film is directed by Marco Molinelli and Giovanni Troilo, who have worked together on numerous projects including documentaries. A behind-the-scenes video featuring an interview with Guadagnino is also available.

This year, Selleria has completely revamped its design. Bags named after the brand's founder, Adele Fendi, as well as her five daughters, Carla, Alda, Anna, Franca, and Paola, have been released (only the first three are sold in Japan). The number of hand-stitched stitches is added after each model name.
