Swiss luxury watch brand Hublot will release the MP-06 Senna, the fourth collaboration watch with the late racing driver Ayrton Senna, this fall.
Hublot has collaborated with Senna three times in the past: the Big Bang Senna in 2007, the Big Bang Ayrton Senna Foudroyante in 2009, and the King Power Ayrton Senna in 2010, which commemorated the 50th anniversary of Senna's birth. The MP-06 Senna, to be released this fall, is part of a series celebrating his 41 career victories and three championship titles. This series will be available in three models: the "MP-06 Senna All Black" (12,726,000 yen), the "MP-06 Senna Titanium" (12,195,000 yen), and the "MP-06 Senna King Gold" (14,847,000 yen). Each model will be sold in a limited edition of 41 pieces worldwide, in honour of Senna's number of victories. Each watch will come with a miniature replica of one of the helmets used in 1988, 1989, or 1991. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of each watch will be donated to the charity work carried out by the Senna family in Brazil. In Japan, the watch will be available at authorized retailers nationwide, including the Hublot Boutique Ginza.
