To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the brand's founding, Japan's renowned sports watch brand, G-SHOCK, will release a collaboration model with Maison Martin Margiela, "G-SHOCK by Maison Martin Margiela," on March 30th. The model name of this first watch from the Maison is "GA-300." Protected by a durable case, the watch and bracelet are entirely clad in a silver finish. The removable silver leather wristband with a cuff features a skeletonized face and dial, revealing the internal mechanism. Maison Martin Margiela's "0 to 23" numbering is engraved on the back of the dial, the clasp, and the back of the leather bracelet. The watch is equipped with all of G-SHOCK's signature features, including a 1/100-second stopwatch, world time (48 cities), a high-brightness LED light called "Super Illuminator," shock resistance, and 20-atmosphere water resistance.
Each watch is engraved with a serial number, and 3,000 pieces will be available worldwide in 300 stores for 30,000 yen (excluding tax), on sale from March 30th. To commemorate the 30th anniversary of G-SHOCK, a promotion focusing on the anniversary number "3" will be launched.
Sales will begin at Isetan Shinjuku and all directly operated Maison Martin Margiela stores from March 30th. From April 12th, the watches will be available at all Ron Herman stores, United Arrows Harajuku Men's Store, Restear (Midtown, Digital Store), and Barneys New York stores.
