
BAO BAO ISSEY MIYAKE has released a limited-edition collaboration model called "BAO BAO HI-VIZ." with art director and graphic designer Naomi Hirabayashi. It was released at Isetan Shinjuku today, July 10th, and will be available at Shibuya Parco on the 12th. The collaboration model is a square shoulder bag. It comes in two sizes: small (¥36,750) and large (¥50,400). The body is made of reflective material. It comes in four colors: white and black, black and yellow, white and yellow, and yellow and white. Approximately 80 people lined up at the pop-up shop on the first floor of Isetan Shinjuku on opening day. The line continued uninterrupted, and purchases were limited to one item per person, with entry restricted. The event at the store will run until the 16th. After graduating from Musashino Art University, Hirabayashi worked as an art director and graphic designer at Shiseido. In 2002, he moved to the UK and was seconded to a design studio in London. After returning to Japan, he worked as a freelancer in fields such as advertising, package design, and book design, and has received numerous awards, including the Tokyo ADC Award. He has also worked on art direction for the magazine "Ginza," direction for apparel brands such as "ARTS&SCIENCE," "United Arrows," and "journal standard lux," and designed CD jackets for artists such as Utada Hikaru and DREAMS COME TRUE.
