Paul by Paul Smith will release "Half and Half," the fourth installment in its fall/winter customization series. As the name suggests, this knitwear can be customized by combining left and right knit fabrics on a base. The bases are a pullover (27,300 yen) and a crew neck cardigan (30,450 yen), both of which have an oversized, boyish silhouette. The knit fabrics are gray and ivory Fair Isle knit, red and green Aran knit, and purple and sky blue waffle knit. One of the following messages will be attached to the neck tag as a surprise message from Paul Smith. The image was photographed by designer Paul Smith himself. Orders will be accepted at Paul Smith women's shops nationwide from November 12th to July 28th, with items scheduled for delivery in mid-November. Paul by Paul Smith was announced in 2007 and launched in the 2008 Spring/Summer season. The customization series began with duffle coats and pea coats in 2010. In 2011, a reversible down coat was introduced, and last year a cardigan that could be custom-made with a combination of alphabet letter patches was introduced.
