As part of a joint venture between Kering, which owns luxury brands such as Gucci, and YOOX, six of the group's brands launched online shops at the end of June. The brand lineup includes Alexander McQueen, Balenciaga, Bottega Veneta, Saint Laurent, Sergio Rossi, and Stella McCartney. The two companies established a joint venture in Italy in August last year, aiming to leverage the synergies between Kering's experience and knowledge in the luxury business and YOOX's e-commerce technology and experience.
Yoox operates online select shops "yoox.com" and "thecorner.com", as well as the online shoe store "shoescribe.com", and also manages online stores for brands around the world, including "ARMANI", "Zegna", and "MARNI". It has offices in over 100 countries, including Europe, the United States, Japan, China, and Hong Kong, and is listed on the Italian Stock Exchange. Last year, it recorded sales of 376 million euros (approximately 50 billion yen).
