Starting with the Winter 2025 collection, Saint Laurent has added the new Icarino to its iconic Ikar series. Since its introduction in 2022, the Ikar has been a symbol of the Maison's big bags with its overwhelming presence. Its name comes from the mythical Icarus, the winged creature who flew too close to the sun, and it has come to symbolize boldness and independent attitude. Born from that series, the Icarino appears as a bag that condenses mythical aesthetics into a more compact scale.

The Icarino is crafted from premium materials such as Agneaux Luxe leather, suede, and satin, and features the Maison's signature flat rossange quilting, creating a classic yet sophisticated look. The front features the Cassandra logo, delicately curved like jewelry, and its brilliance evokes the sun that burned Icarus' wings. Although small, the bag's zip closure and gold lining complete its elegance and practicality.

Also announced at the same time was the "Icar Shopping," which, while more compact than previous models, still has enough space to store a PC or notebook, making it suitable for a wide range of uses, from everyday use to short trips. It is once again a perfect embodiment of Saint Laurent's slogan of "elegance beyond practicality."
