
The long-established French brand Repetto will release its first fragrance, Repetto Eau de Toilette (30ml/5,775 yen, 50ml/8,400 yen, 80ml/11,550 yen).
The scent is centered around rose. Light top notes of pear and cherry blossom are followed by middle notes of rose extract and orange blossom, followed by vanilla and amberwood. The box and bottle are Repetto's signature pink color and are decorated with a satin ribbon, also used on ballet shoes. It will be released on the 21st of next month, along with a shower gel (150ml/3,150 yen) and body lotion (150ml/3,360 yen) with the same scent. Dorothee Gilbert, a principal dancer with the Paris Opera Ballet who has served as a brand ambassador since January last year, visited Japan for the launch event held at Ginza Repetto on the 18th. "I love fruity scents, especially the orange blossom that appears in the middle note. The wood that evokes the practice bar and stage, and the powdery last note that evokes makeup, are a scent that truly embodies the world of ballet," she said in a friendly manner.
