Karl Lagerfeld and Brazilian rubber shoe brand Melissa will debut a collaborative shoe line this fall/winter. The four shoe styles include a cone heel (¥21,000) based on Melissa's "Incense" model, featuring a glittery ice cream design on the back; a strappy pointe shoe (¥15,750); a flat shoe (¥13,125) based on the "Glam" model; and a rainbow heel (¥21,525) based on the platform shoe "Ginga" featuring the colors of the Brazilian flag. The collection will be available for pre-sale at Isetan Shinjuku's Re-Style Plus from August 7th. Melissa has previously collaborated with Vivienne Westwood, Jason Wu, and Zaha Hadid. Karl will be designing for the brand for four seasons, starting this fall/winter season.
