BEAMS has begun franchising its restaurant chain, Lemson's.
The first franchise store, Peter Pan Komoco, a subsidiary of Yoshinoya Holdings, will open its AEON Mall Musashimurayama store (1-1-3 Enoki, Musashimurayama City, Tokyo, 1st floor) on the 19th, and its Aqua City Odaiba store (1-7-1 Daiba, Minato Ward, Tokyo, 3rd floor, Aqua City Odaiba) on the 9th of next month.
At both stores, customers can operate the frozen yogurt and soft serve dispensers themselves to choose their own flavors, toppings, and quantity. They can choose from 12 flavors and 24 toppings, and the system measures out their order at the register.
In October of last year, BEAMS signed a master license agreement with Fried Green Tomatoes and began recruiting franchisees.

Lemson's is Beams' own food and beverage brand that was launched in the spring of 2012. The menu is supervised by Hawaiian chef George Lemson. With this latest opening, the brand now has six stores nationwide, and three in Tokyo, including the Tokyo Skytree Town Solamachi store.
