On August 1st, Italian planner brand Moleskine will open its sixth shop-in-shop, "Moleskine Atelier," in the 12th floor Loft of Seibu Ikebukuro Main Store.
In addition to the standard notebook and diary collections, the shop will carry Moleskine Atelier's exclusive writing and travel collections. Artist workshops are also planned. Moleskine Atelier has stores in Yurakucho, Sapporo Loft, Tokyu Hands Shinjuku and Nagoya, and Osaka Takashimaya.
Moleskine notebooks are characterized by their water-repellent, hard black covers and elastic bands for closing the notebook. They have been used by Vincent van Gogh, Pablo Picasso, and Ernest Hemingway, among others. Currently, the brand offers not only planners but also small accessory cases and iPad covers.
