Maison Martin Margiela's "Line 13: Objects and Publications Collection" introduces a collection of items inspired by Japanese traditions, called "Limited Edition Items for Japan." The items will be available exclusively from the 31st at L'ESPACE Maison Martin Margiela, a concept store that opened for a year on the third floor of Isetan Shinjuku in March. The lineup includes a reproduction of the "Miniature Emmanuel Chair" (10,500 yen), the Maison's first "white object" ever unveiled, covered in cotton. The miniature Emmanuel Chair was originally created to commemorate the opening of the Tokyo store in 2000, the world's first street-level store. Other items on display include a flower vase covered in rabbit fur (narrow/42,000 yen, wide/57,750 yen), a paper-thin leather fan handmade by artisans (18,900 yen), a bottle lamp made from recycled bottles (78,750 yen), white Belgian cotton bottle covers (6,300 yen, 7,350 yen), and potpourri wrapped in a white silk cover woven by artisans in Kyoto (26,250 yen).
