Tod's quintessential "sartorial" floor opens in Milan. Also coming to Omotesando

Jun 28, 2013

TOD'S has unveiled its handcrafted leather collection, "Sartorial Touch." It has opened a dedicated floor in its Tod's boutique on Via della Spiga in Milan, Italy. The floor, crafted with natural tan leather, solid nutwood, and steel, is reminiscent of the Tod's Milan office. The atelier features handmade products, vintage items, and contemporary art-like furnishings. The collection will debut in Milan, followed by flagship stores in Tokyo, Paris, and Shanghai. In Japan, it will debut at the Tod's Omotesando boutique. Sartorial Touch is a collection crafted from leather using coloring techniques passed down through two generations of artisans. Each handmade piece is engraved with the "J.P. TOD'S" logo, which was used when the brand was founded. Items include monk strap shoes (181,650 yen).
