Fashion model Melody Yoko was born on July 30, 1988, in California. She is half American and half Japanese. After being scouted in Los Angeles, she came to Japan in 2006 and began her modeling career. That same year, she declined her American university offer and enrolled at Sophia University. She has frequently appeared on the covers of fashion magazines such as "Glamorous" and "Classy" as an exclusive model. She has also served as a face for brands like "UNIQLO," "PEACH JOHN," and "Shiseido." She continues to model in fashion magazines, as well as appear in fashion shows and events. In 2010, she was appointed a goodwill ambassador for the nonprofit organization "Aquapeace," where she supports orphanages and their children in Indonesia and works to build schools there.
