Gallery 110 (67-15-1/8bldg. 4A Nishinokyo Shojicho, Nakagyo Ward, Kyoto City), a gallery specializing in fashion, will open on the 14th in Nakagyo Ward, Kyoto City.

The management team, including fashion researchers Hirofumi Ashida and Hiroshi Narumi, and Ryo Ishiseki, curator at the Kyoto Costume Institute, will select artists and works from their respective perspectives, with the aim of creating a history of fashion from diverse perspectives. The gallery will also exhibit works unrelated to business, further developing the cultural aspects of fashion. It will also function as a space for discussing fashion through lectures and study groups, and can be rented for exhibitions and order taking.

The first exhibition to open on the first day of the opening, "TWO_TWO," will be held. Two groups of fourth-year students from the Fashion Design course in the Department of Spatial Design and Fashion Design at Kyoto University of Art and Design, will participate. The exhibition will feature "My Dad Is Not a Pilot" (Takahara Hayato + Tsukada Seiya), which expresses how false status is connected to the act of "decorating," the root of fashion, and "City Mate" (Kokaji Shingo + Tachikawa Aiko), which incorporates the fashion image of a fictional town consumed by Japanese girls into the uniforms of convenience stores and family restaurants. An opening party will be held from 6pm on the first day.

The gallery is located south of Nijo Castle, west of Shinsen-en Garden. It is located close to the retro coffee shop "Tyrol," which was the model for the film "Bend! Spoon" (released in 2009) starring Nagasawa Masami.
