"Paperweight" exhibition featuring 15 independent magazines to be held in Munich

The exhibition "Paper Weight," featuring independent magazines published since 2000, will open at the Munich art museum Haus der Kunst from the 12th.

The venue will feature an extra-large magazine display. The exhibition will feature 15 magazines that primarily cover architecture, art, design, fashion, food, and sex, including art and culture magazines 032c and Bidoun, interiors magazine Apartamento, gay magazine BUTT, fashion magazine Encens, and tattoo magazine Sang Bleu. The curator is Felix Burrichter, creative director of architecture magazine PIN-UP.

A panel discussion with four editors will be held on the 11th at 7 PM. On August 31st, there will be a workshop where participants will choose a topic from the magazine and create a collage using images and text (reservations required).
