A new spot will open next spring next to the Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse, housing 24 stores including Fred Segal.

A new commercial facility adjacent to the Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse, MARINE&WALK YOKOHAMA (1-3-1 Shinminato, Naka-ku, Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture), will open in March 2016.

Born from the idea of creating a street in a waterfront warehouse district, this facility is a streetscape-style open mall. By seamlessly connecting the sea and greenery, a sophisticated yet relaxing street has been created. Visitors can enjoy shopping while strolling around town or a meal while gazing at the sea.

24 stores are planned to open in the facility. The Japanese flagship store of Fred Segal, a lifestyle multi-brand select shop, will feature the store's first food hall, as well as apparel and activewear centered on the Southern California lifestyle. Other brands making their Yokohama debut include Denham, a denim brand from Amslerdam, Netherlands, which offers hand-washing services at an off-site denim washing facility; A16, a popular San Francisco restaurant serving wood-fired pizza and grilled dishes; and TOMS, a Los Angeles shoe brand, which will have its largest store in the Kanto region. Also opening at the facility is BAYSIDE GEIHINKAN VERANDA minatomirai, a wedding venue operated by Take and Give Needs. The five-story venue is fully rentable for weddings, and plans call for an on-site restaurant. The facility will also have a promotional booth at Yokohama Oktoberfest 2015, held at the adjacent Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse from October 2nd to 18th. Guests can enjoy photoshoots in the photo booth, Fred Segal coffee, and Camden's Blue Donuts.
