Lucua 1100, a new commercial facility in Umeda, Osaka, will open tomorrow, April 2nd. Targeting men and women in their 30s and 40s, the 33,000-square-meter facility features 150 specialty stores and eight "isetan" shops. On the second floor, the takeout-only Starbucks Coffee Atrium Garden and Aoyama Flower Shop are located side by side. While often reported as a "collaboration," Aoyama Flower Market brand creator Hisashi Ehara explained, "We weren't aiming for a collaboration from the start. It just so happened that the two stores were next to each other, and we wondered if we could do something together, so it became more of a mutual service arrangement." Starbucks Coffee Atrium Garden and Aoyama Flower Market are connected internally, and flowers from Aoyama Flower Market are displayed inside Starbucks Coffee. "There has also been talk of holding flower arrangement lessons at the Starbucks Coffee Grand Marche at the back of the same floor," says Ehara.

On the third floor is ESTNATION, a comprehensive select shop for men and women. The cash register uses a long counter reminiscent of a luxury hotel. This is the eighth store nationwide and the first in the Kansai region. While the other stores are decorated in a sharp silver color scheme, the Osaka store is decorated in white and green, emphasizing a natural feel. Furthermore, outside of the Tokyo stores, this is the only store with a flower sales corner inside.
