French champagne brand Dom Pérignon will release a limited-edition gift box for the holiday season, "Dom Pérignon Vintage 2006 Limited Edition Gift Box by Björk & Cunningham" (750ml, 22,000 yen), at major department stores nationwide starting October 23rd. The gift box is a collaboration between world-renowned Icelandic artist Björk and avant-garde filmmaker Chris Cunningham. The packaging depicts a ray of green light as the Earth (the world) warmly welcomes Dom Pérignon Vintage 2006, which has lain in an underground cellar for eight years and reached the peak of its first aging period.

Dom Pérignon Vintage 2006 is characterized by its fresh, deep, and well-rounded flavor, which develops into a more complex and distinctive flavor as it spreads in the mouth. It blends together iodine and saltiness with a subtle hint of the seashore, as well as a refined bitterness.

The Dom Pérignon Rosé Vintage 2004 Björk & Cunningham Limited Edition Gift Box (750ml, 41,000 yen), with its striking pink glow, will also be released.
