"Ba to Ma vol.09," an event where visitors can enjoy creative works and interior goods along with a wide selection of food, will be held on the 5th floor of Starrise Tower, a multi-purpose space located beneath Tokyo Tower, on October 9th and 10th.
This event is an expanded version of "BATOMA TRADESHOW," a joint exhibition of design, art, and products previously held at Laforet Harajuku and Omotesando Hills, and "BATOMA information," an interior information event. Based on the theme of "FUSION," the event will showcase ideas born from the fusion of various personalities.
Creative director Aki Tomura's installation "IKILU," based on the theme of "forest and city," uses collage art and objects by artists to ask the question, "Ikiru." Additionally, "BATOMA information" will feature lifestyle proposals and new project announcements in collaboration with popular interior shops and manufacturers, including IDEE and THE CONRAN SHOP. The BATOMA TRADESHOW will display a variety of interior items divided into four categories: KITCHEN, HOME & DESIGN, LOVE & GIFT, and DECORATION.
This innovative market for adults, a collaboration between gallery space ROCKET and BA to MA, will feature zines made by creators, unique miscellaneous goods, and art pieces. Other food and drink options will include NOZY COFFEE, a popular coffee shop specializing in single-origin coffee, Tokyo Beer Porter, a mobile craft beer vendor, and a limited-edition game burger from SOHOLM, a game restaurant run by interior design shop ACTUS.
