BVLGARI is introducing a new Serpenti bag for Spring/Summer 2013. The new tote bag combines lustrous karung (water snake) material with calfskin, accentuating the snake's three-dimensional shape. Available in two sizes, the handles feature snake scales. The classic shoulder bag with a snakehead closure is now available in vibrant fuchsia pink and elegant beige. "Serpenti," Italian for "snake," has been one of BVLGARI's signature motifs since the 1960s. It first made waves when Elizabeth Taylor wore a Serpenti watch in the 1963 film "Cleopatra," and the brand has since expanded its line to include jewelry, bags, and eyewear. The brand has become a favorite of international celebrities and editors, including Jessica Alba, Reese Witherspoon, Emma Roberts, and Miranda Kerr.
