To celebrate the 10th anniversary of Y-3, whose creative director is Yohji Yamamoto, the brand will release its first men's fragrance, BLACK LABEL. "Creating perfume and designing clothes are very different. Many people are involved in creating perfumes, offering advice. But ultimately, both must be about creating something that captivates the senses," says Yamamoto. The masculine and vibrant top notes of cardamom, elemi, and marigold are complemented by a sensual heart of Virginia cedarwood and lavandin, with black pepper as the focal point. The base notes of patchouli, vetiver, and tonka bean envelop the wearer in a seductive mood. The 75ml bottle will be available on the Y-3 official online store in February, but a Japanese release date has yet to be announced.

Yamamoto also looked back on the history of Y-3, which began with a collaboration with Adidas, and commented, "Ten years ago, we worked with Adidas to create something that had never existed before. And that future has turned out to be just as we predicted. My wish was to make sportswear elegant and chic. That hasn't changed since then."
