MAX&Co. reopened its newly renovated Omotesando store on September 4th. A grand opening event was held at the Omotesando store on October 21st to commemorate the store's opening and the brand's 20th anniversary in Japan.

The six-story, three-floor store was designed by architect Andrea Tognon. The interior and exterior incorporate Italian contemporary design to express the brand's unique worldview. The glass-enclosed pagoda-style design on the walls pays homage to Japanese tradition and modern design. The colors of the Italian Cipollino marble, which was also used to make the columns of Roman temples, are reminiscent of Japanese watercolor paintings. The store will also feature the full lineup of women's wear. The grand opening event, celebrating the store's opening, featured appearances by international celebrity Olivia Palermo, who has served as a MAX&Co. ambassador since the 2015 Spring/Summer season, and model and talent Izumi Mori, whose grandmother is a fashion designer. Regarding styling the 2015 Autumn/Winter collection, Olivia Palermo commented, "I really love this year's collection. There are so many different colors, and I'm looking forward to it. I like mixing and matching colors, so I'd like to play around with colors, like pairing a mustard sweater with a blue jacket." Mori Izumi, who appeared in a striking blue limited edition "ORIGAMI" dress, commented, "The origami motif accents give it a nice Italian-Japanese fusion feel. I'd love to wear it for a girls' night or a date." In addition to a ribbon-cutting ceremony with Roberto Macchia, president of Max&Co., Olivia Palermo and Izumi Mori shared their thoughts on styling the brand and coordinating their fashion.
