FENDI, the luxury brand renowned in Rome, Italy, is pleased to present its joyful, uplifting new capsule collection, "FF Vertigo," for the Summer 2021 season. Happy, colorful, and irresistibly colored in yellow and light blue, the collection features sophisticated, eye-catching bags and accessories for both men and women, as well as captivating ready-to-wear pieces.
Blending '70s inspiration with '90s vibes, the captivating lineup showcases FENDI's exceptional craftsmanship and innovative, forward-thinking approach. The collection also marks a return of FENDI's collaboration with Sarah Coleman, which debuted at Design Miami last year. New York-based visual artist Sarah Coleman is known for subversively reworking designer materials, reimagining and repurposing everyday objects through an ironic lens. Sharing a passion for pushing handcraft in new directions, Coleman and Artistic Director Silvia Venturini Fendi collaborated on a new interpretation of the iconic FF logo, reimagining it through a psychedelic 1970s filter. The result is FF Vertigo, a new motif that puts a twist on the traditional FF logo.
For accessories, yellow FF Vertigo is printed using inkjet technology onto the mineral tanned leather of the iconic Peekaboo bag. The same yellow or blue FF Vertigo pattern is also printed on canvas with a cool, waterproof coating, and painted on a timeless tobacco-colored jacquard fabric. Both variations are scattered across chic and functional shoppers and the new Baguette 1997 bag. An evolution of the Maison's signature accessory, it features a slim under-arm gusset and adjustable fold-down handles, renewing the iconic spirit of this legendary style. They also grace new designs, including a contemporary and cool mini bag, and textiles featuring feather-light fabrics perfect for the summer season. The fun and practical Sunshine Shopper Mini also makes an appearance, featuring the iconic FENDI ROMA logo on the front and available in straw and traditional leather with contrasting colors on the sides.

As part of its collaboration with Sarah Coleman, Fendi has inlaid the Peekaboo X-Tote and Baguette 1997 with the FF Fisheye motif, distorting the familiar FF logo as if seen through a fisheye lens. Adding further colour is the Peekaboo ISeeU, crafted from nappa leather with the FF logo, specially treated to glow in the dark, inspired by a project unveiled at Design Miami.
The family is also expanded with the launch of the new Peekaboo ISeeU Small. Powerful in both looks and proportions, this bag exudes the magic of an ultimate icon in smooth leather or the timeless two-tone version in Selleria.
Inspired by the sense of adventure and freedom associated with an outdoor lifestyle, the ready-to-wear collection combines the ultimate in style and functionality. In the women's collection, FF Vertigo is used in multi-pocket skirts that add practicality, transformable jackets, ultra-feminine bodysuits and draped tops paired with cargo trousers, sporty windbreakers coordinated with fitness wear, one-piece swimsuits, bikinis, lace dresses, trench coats and flowing trousers.

The same combination of effortless elegance and contemporary functionality is reflected in the men's collection, which is heavily inspired by the outdoors. Lightweight fabrics such as FF Vertigo jacquard lend a chic yet practical twist to T-shirts, bowling shirts and Bermuda shorts, as well as cool fisherman vests paired with coordinated baggy trousers, shiny raincoats and lightweight organza summer suits. The FF Vertigo multicolour motif is featured on embossed leather FENDI Pack styles. Flat Baguettes in medium and mini sizes are main pieces that emphasise the chic yet practical appeal. Adding to the excitement of the range, the Peekaboo I See U is presented in iconic nappa leather embossed with the FF fisheye motif. Celebrating the joy of outdoor living, the FENDI Flow sneaker showcases the FF Vertigo print, along with the new FENDI Force high-top sneaker, which is as light as a trekking sandal. The outdoor theme also influences high-tech earpods and phone cases, while a selection of jewelry combines woven leather with lacquered metallic details and hiking rope.
