The Fall/Holiday 2015 collection for Gyakusou, a running collection created in collaboration between NikeLab and Undercover, went on sale on the 29th online at NIKE.COM/NikeLab and in select stores. Prior to the launch, a special event was held on the evening of the 28th at the Garden Island of the Tokyo Prince Hotel. To mark the brand's fifth anniversary, archives were exhibited at the venue, and a night run featuring guests from Undercover and Nike, as well as models, was held around Shiba Park. The brand's designer, Jun Takahashi, also completed a 10km run and attended the reception party. SODA!, a band led by Tadanobu Asano, a friend of both Takahashi and Nike, made an appearance at the party. They celebrated the start of their 11th season in a punkish style, chanting "Gyakusou!" from the stage. A pioneer of the collaborative development of fashion and athletic wear, which is gaining popularity along with the term "athleisure," the brand debuted in October 2010 with the "Reverse Run - Nighttime Sports Day" at the National Kasumigaoka Stadium. While collections have been released seasonally since then, this was the first time Tokyo's nightlife throngs gathered for a physical event. The new collections are themed around layering, proposing running wear that utilizes the functionality of materials by combining individual pieces to suit the weather, climate, and environment. Experimental designs include a knit-sleeve hoodie using Nike Dri-FIT knit technology, a lightweight 800-fill down vest, and a breathable shirt and jacquard knitwear with laser-cut ventilation holes based on a sweat map to promote airflow in areas of the body where heat is most likely to build up.

Using Nike's research data, GIRA (Gyakusou International Running Association), led by runner Jun Takahashi, unveiled a collection of futuristic, urban running wear full of ideas, which they have turned into fashion items.

At the venue, a service was also available where people could pre-order products by accessing the QR codes on the products on display at the venue, ahead of the general release the following day.
