Product Features
Caliber 9F86, the latest 9F quartz movement with GMT function.

Since its birth in 1960, Grand Seiko has striven to create the finest wristwatches, continuously pursuing and realizing the essential qualities of a wristwatch, such as accuracy, beauty, and legibility, at a high level, and has made steady progress. In 1988, Grand Seiko released its first quartz watch, the 95GS. It achieved the pinnacle of accuracy, with an annual deviation of ±10 seconds.
Five years later, in 1993, the first 9F movement, caliber 9F83, was completed. Equipped with numerous innovative features, including an auto-backlash adjustment mechanism, a twin pulse control motor, and an instantaneous date change mechanism, this quartz movement embodies Grand Seiko's ultimate pursuit of the essential qualities of a wristwatch: accuracy, beauty, legibility, durability, and ease of use. It is a pinnacle of accuracy, with meticulous attention to detail.
The latest Grand Seiko quartz movement, caliber 9F86, featured in this watch, features a GMT function, allowing the hour hand to be adjusted without stopping the watch when adjusting to a different time zone, without compromising the high accuracy of ±10 seconds per year.

A highly visible dial that evokes the sunlight shining at dawn

The gold accents on the GS logo, dial ring, and GMT hand, as well as the dial's radiant pattern that reflects and reflects light, represent the sunlight shining at dawn. This represents Grand Seiko's unwavering determination to take on new challenges in this milestone year marking the 140th anniversary of Seiko's founding.
The dial ring, divided into two colors, allows users to visually distinguish between day and night in the second time zone, and the GMT hand is adorned with a blue Lumibrite that differs from the hour and minute hands and indices, ensuring high visibility even at night.
Design and specs for tough use

The case, with its functional design achieved by stripping away all essential elements and its highly wear-resistant and scratch-resistant black ceramic bezel, creates a solid appearance. It also boasts 20 bar water resistance and enhanced magnetic resistance of 16,000 A/m, making it a reliable companion for even the toughest situations.
An 18K yellow gold patch featuring the brand's iconic lion emblem is attached to the case back along with the serial number.

The first models in the 9F Quartz Regular Collection to feature a ceramic bezel

Two sporty models with ceramic bezels will be added to the regular collection. These are the first models in the 9F Quartz Regular Collection to use a ceramic bezel. This model, with striking accent colors of vivid red and blue, is inspired by the burning passion for endless challenges and the passion hidden within a calm demeanor, respectively. Like the limited edition model, it matches active scenes in both design and specifications.
