Herbal tea that looks like pressed flowers. A visually appealing and delicious new summer product unveiled at "Rocket" in Harajuku

Jul 1, 2015

Have a Herbal Harvest, a herbal tea brand created by the flower art unit Plantica and CATERING ROCKET, a catering service run by the Harajuku gallery ROCKET, will be holding an exhibition at ROCKET in Shibuya, Tokyo, from July 3rd to 7th, showcasing their new summer collection. Herbal teas are often produced without preserving the leaf shape. Have a Herbal Harvest dries each individual herb, like a vases or pressed flower, to create tea leaves that are beautiful for displaying as interior décor and delicious to drink afterward. Using carefully selected seasonal herbs, the brand's new summer offering is the beautiful purple-flowered "Blue Mallow," also known as the "herb of dawn." The vibrant blue of Blue Mallow pairs well with fruit syrup, and the color change caused by the chemical reaction between the herb and fruit is a delight to enjoy. Bringing refreshing color and comfort to sunny summer nights, this is the perfect summer gift item.

The exhibition will feature the unveiling of new summer products, herbal tea tastings, and a tea-making demonstration by the creator, Ito Ito of Catering Rocket.
