Acne Studios presents its Spring/Summer 2016 men's collection. This season, the inspiration comes from the New York Dolls, a band that caused a sensation in the 1970s with its genderless approach to style. Feminine pieces stand out, including form-fitting long knits and tops, voluminous shirts, and loose-fitting tailored pants. Occasionally, waist belts reminiscent of shoelaces add a charming accent. In contrast to these slender silhouettes, the color palette is clear and bold, ranging from concrete gray to brown, white, vibrant orange, green, and blue. The surfboard art graphics of shaper Robin Kegal, another source of inspiration for designer Jonny Johnson, add contrast.
