Acne Studios' 2014-2015 Autumn/Winter collection captures the seaside atmosphere and comfort of late autumn, a feeling that creative director Jonny Johansson felt while spending winter time on a Swedish beach. The color palette reflects the colors of the sky seen from the shore, with natural tones such as black, brown, blue, and moss green, as well as pastel pink, orange, and white evoking a sunrise. Materials like thick denim and blankets are used to suggest outfits for staying active in the cold winter. The collection also features the textures of natural materials such as soft pony leather, tweed, and mouton. Tweed and satin are adorned with prints and embroidery featuring undulating waves.

Inspired by blankets worn on cold days, tops, dresses and coats have a relaxed mood with raw-edged details and loose silhouettes. Knit items such as long turtleneck dresses also give off a warm impression.

A large yet simple tribal-inspired necklace with a circle motif made an impact in the collection, as it could be worn over a coat. Bracelets, rings and earrings are also available.
