LACOSTE has partnered with Lesage, a hand-embroidered studio that has long supported Parisian haute couture fashion. The brand unveiled its women's collection, "Couture Polo," at a launch party called "Players" held at the Palais de Tokyo in Paris's 16th arrondissement on July 5th, during Haute Couture Week. This year marks the 50th anniversary of the brand's signature women's polo shirt, and the collection marks Creative Director Felipe Oliveira Baptista's return to haute couture. Eight Lacoste couture polos, embroidered by Lesage, include oversized polo shirts and mini polo dresses cut to elegantly sublimate bare skin. At the collection's launch party, the eight polo shirts were displayed on display devices inspired by each model. The party also served as a release party for the latest issue of fashion culture magazine The Reality Show, "Game of Love." Eight photos and videos featuring eight female celebrities wearing the collection, directed by the magazine's editor-in-chief Tiffany Godoy and Felipe Oliveira Baptista, were unveiled for the first time. Additionally, four limited-edition items based on the couture collection, featuring Lacoste's crocodile emblem embroidered on the collar, are available exclusively at the flagship store on the Champs-Élysées in Paris. The items will be available at Le Bon Marché in Paris, 10 Corso Como in Milan, Dover Street Market in London, Dover Street Market Ginza in Tokyo, and I.T. Beijing Market on July 15th, and will also be available in Japan on the official Lacoste online store from the end of August.
