■ "d design travel KYOTO"

The 16th volume of "d design travel," a design travel guide published by D&DEPARTMENT PROJECT at a pace of three volumes per year, summarizing the unique characteristics of each of Japan's 47 prefectures, has been released.

The theme of this book is the long-standing lifestyle of each region. It was created to convey to many people the unique characteristics of each region that are being lost as Japan becomes increasingly urbanized. To publish a book, the "d design travel" editorial team actually lives in each region for approximately two months, interacting with the lives of the people they meet and experiencing the unique characteristics of each region. This experience allows the editorial team to unravel the "unique design of each region" from their own perspective.
