The theme of this book is the long-standing lifestyle of each region. It was created to convey to many people the unique characteristics of each region that are being lost as Japan becomes increasingly urbanized. To publish a book, the "d design travel" editorial team actually lives in each region for approximately two months, interacting with the lives of the people they meet and experiencing the unique characteristics of each region.
