Diesel, known for its unique advertising with powerful messages, has unveiled its campaign visuals for the 2015-16 Autumn/Winter season. Diesel has a history of offering a unique interpretation of the times and trends through its advertising. While retouched images and overly overblown copy are commonplace these days, the brand's 2015-16 Autumn/Winter season theme, "Decoded by Diesel," delivers a straightforward message. In an era where digital culture is pervasive and anyone can access any information directly, the brand sees humor as a way for people to share and connect with others. The unpretentious language of unretouched photos, accompanied by humorous captions like "We're Showing What to Wear," "No Military Experience Required," and "Blah, blah, blah," expresses a desire to respect consumers and connect directly with them. The styling was handled by Nicola Formichetti, the brand's new artistic director, and the photography was by Richard Burbridge. Spring Studios was the creative agency.
