To celebrate the release of the new Tanker color, Iron Blue, a pop-up tour called "We go, where you go," TANKER IRON BLUE ON THE ROAD, will begin on April 16th at Dover Street Market Ginza, a concept store directed by Comme des Garçons' Rei Kawakubo, and will visit major cities in Japan and abroad. Participating stores will also be selling a limited edition "Officer Circuit," a set that includes the Amuleto, a key holder that can be worn around the neck, and the ATM Purse, which can store multiple cards.

What is the new PORTER / TANKER color, "IRON BLUE"?
The "TANKER" series, synonymous with PORTER, introduces the new color, "IRON BLUE." This "IRON BLUE" is an original color that is a refined and tranquil take on the deep hue of the traditional Japanese color "iron blue."

The "TANKER" series, released in 1983, features an original three-layer fabric developed with the motif of the US Air Force's "MA-1" flight jacket. The three-layer fabric, made of nylon twill (surface), polyester cotton (middle layer), and nylon taffeta (back), is very light, and the soft feel of the bonded material and the vibrant rescue orange backing add to its appeal. This series is packed with the utmost attention to detail of Yoshida & Co.'s craftsmen, at every stage, from cutting to sewing and parts.

To commemorate the release of this new color, we will be holding a pop-up tour called "We go, where you go" TANKER IRON BLUE ON THE ROAD, which will visit major cities in Japan and abroad.
