Presented on the runway at the Spring/Summer 2024 menswear show, "Valentino the Narrative," in Milan, Valentino Garavani and PORTER have collaborated to present a special capsule collection, "Valentino Garavani and Porter." The capsule collection combines the aesthetic tradition of Maison Valentino with the refined craftsmanship of Japan.

At ’Valentino Garavani & Porter’, two far-flung worlds come together through exquisite craftsmanship and rigorous attention to detail. Valentino's long-standing tradition of couture excellence is blended with PORTER's tradition of blending practicality, simplicity, and enduring style.

The collection consists of two groups: the Valentino Garavani ’Loco’ bag, crafted from PORTER's signature nylon, and the &lsquoToile Iconograph’ print on PORTER's iconic silhouettes. All models feature an interior lining that evokes the Maison's legendary color, Rosso Valentino, unifying each piece.

This collaboration sees the contemporary Valentino Garavani ‘Roco’ silhouette influenced by PORTER's always practical, functional, and beautiful designs. Small and medium bags are crafted from PORTER nylon in a variety of shades, including black, khaki, burgundy, yellow, and mint green.

Four traditional PORTER styles are also reimagined in collaboration with the Maison. The Valentino ‘Toile Iconograph’ pattern leaves an unforgettable mark in subtle, tone-on-tone hues on PORTER briefcases, totes, messengers and sling bags. Each style features precious details that exemplify PORTER's timeless sensibility, including a detachable Valentino Garavani pochette on the sling bag and durable, premium hardware.

Committed to quality, every piece is made in Japan, adhering to strict design and quality standards. To complement each bag, a special dust bag is presented in Valentino's classic Rosso color, featuring the iconic logos of both brands.
PORTER
Yoshida (Yoshida Bags) was founded in 1935 by bag craftsman Yoshizo Yoshida. The company launched its own brand, "PORTER," in 1962. Under the motto "Put your heart and soul into every stitch," the company continues to create bags made in Japan. The brand name was chosen with respect for the porters who take care of guests' luggage at hotels and other places, as they are always in contact with bags and know the quality of their work.
