Bottega Veneta has unveiled its women's and men's Early Fall 2017 collection. Following on from its Spring/Summer 2017 collection, the women's collection focuses on lightweight materials and joyous yarns. Sharp silhouettes are accented with playful gathers and drapes. Materials include cotton, silk, mohair wool, silk jacquard, and variously textured leathers. Prints feature intricate geometric designs. Vibrant colors—ochre yellow, burnt orange, geranium red, China red, and burgundy—are the dominant palette, balanced by powdery pastel neutrals and metallic hues. The bag collection showcases Bottega Veneta's artisanal techniques, including smaller bags created using new techniques and craftsmanship. The collection features double-buckle sandals incorporating intricate geometric patterns, as well as square-toe and chunky heels. Cubic Conia jewelry also includes stackable bracelets combining starry silver and enamel. Eyewear is also available in unique, luxurious colors. The men's collection focuses on classic yet innovative pieces that will refresh men's wardrobes from June through late autumn. Colors include dark hues like deep moss green, denim blue, dark burgundy, and espresso brown, as well as neutrals like steel, smoke, and cement. Leathers like cervo, nappa, and nappa suede are used extensively, while suits are made from wool, cotton, and jacquard blends featuring intricate geometric patterns. The silhouettes are designed to flatter the body line, with pants featuring straight cuts and slightly tapered hems. Bags include carry-on bags, shopping bags, document cases, and briefcases. The shoes range includes casual items like calf leather city sneakers, as well as lace-up shoes and side-gore boots with the brand's signature intrecciato weave at the seams. Similar to the women's line, the eyewear range also includes a number of models in luxurious colors.
