Tiffany & Co. has produced and released a short film, "The Journey of a Tiffany Diamond," depicting the journey of a diamond, which is brought to life by the hands of artisans in its ateliers, before going on to bring happiness to people around the world.

For the first time, cameras were allowed into Tiffany ateliers in Antwerp, Belgium; the Republic of Mauritius; and New York, USA, to document the journey of diamonds, from mining with consideration for the environment and human rights, to sorting, marking, cutting, polishing, grading, and setting, and the final piece being placed in the famous Tiffany Blue Box.

About the film, Andy Hart, Tiffany's senior vice president of Diamond & Jewelry Supply, said, "This is a story only Tiffany can tell. Tiffany stands out from other luxury jewelers in that we source our diamonds directly, and each diamond is handled with the utmost care by our skilled craftsmen from start to finish. Our standards are rigorous, and of the diamonds in the world that meet jewelry standards, less than 0.04% are selected as Tiffany diamonds."
