Fascinating "dress kimono" designed by X-JAPAN's YOSHIKI will be available at Shinjuku Isetan

Dec 14, 2016

YOSHIKIMONO, the kimono brand created by X-JAPAN's YOSHIKI, a songwriter, drummer, and classical pianist, will be holding "YOSHIKIMONO - Enchanting Dress Kimono" from December 26th to 31st at The Stage on the first floor of the main building of Isetan Shinjuku.

YOSHIKIMONO was founded by YOSHIKI, whose family owns a kimono shop, with the desire to "introduce kimono, a traditional Japanese culture, to the world." The brand debuted at ASIA GIRLS EXPLOSION, Asia's largest music and fashion collaboration event, in 2011, and made its full collection debut at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Tokyo in October 2015.

This pop-up will feature new items that were unveiled during a groundbreaking performance at Amazon Fashion Week TOKYO 2017 S/S on October 17th. The show featured a total of 21 styles, ranging from kimonos featuring crimson and metallic colors and rock motifs like skulls, to off-the-shoulder mini-dresses and see-through vinyl kimonos.
