Bottega Veneta has unveiled its 2017 Cruise Collection. Following on from its 2016-2017 Autumn/Winter collection, the collection features slim silhouettes and a wide range of uplifting colors. A diverse palette includes classic darks, vibrant brights, and contrasting muted pastels. The women's collection features pieces with precise tailoring and a refined silhouette. Coats are paired with every outfit. The men's collection incorporates longer lines into sporty pieces, all with a slim, elegant silhouette. The materials used are both glossy and matte. The glossy collection includes lustrous, wrinkled lamb leather, glossy waxed cotton twill, cotton satin, devoréed velvet, and jacquard. Matte materials include cotton velvet, corduroy calf suede, bonded crepe, tightly woven wool, bonded tweed, gabardine, and viscose jersey. Items are embroidered with pavé prints and square sequins.

The women's accessories are generally small in size. They include colorful handbags combining calf leather and water snake print, pumps with contrasting ankle straps in patent leather, and jewelry primarily made of sterling silver, such as silver and patent leather bangles. For men, the collection includes a weekend bag in double suede with crocodile trim, a matte calf document case with beautiful graphic stripes, and rail track boots in suede in a variety of colors.

Regarding the collection, creative director Tomas Maier said, "As with previous collections, we have kept in mind what was shown on the runway, and have developed a rich color palette that enhances the mood of the season.We have also used a wide range of materials, making the collection suitable for a variety of environments around the world."
