Celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2021, Gucci is entering the world of luxury watchmaking with the launch of the contemporary High Watchmaking collection designed by Creative Director Alessandro Michele. Each watch in this collection radiates the same creativity, craftsmanship, and technical expertise that have underpinned Gucci's products since Guccio Gucci launched the luxury brand in 1921.

The High Watchmaking collection is comprised of four lines: GUCCI 25H, G-Timeless, Grip, and High Jewelry watches. Each design is inspired by motifs that convey Gucci's legacy and tradition, including plants, animals, lucky numbers, and the brand's signature Interlocking G.

Gucci's watchmaking history began in 1972. As the first luxury fashion brand to incorporate watches into its collections, Gucci not only expresses contemporary style but has always pursued the highest level of Swiss-made quality. For nearly 50 years, Gucci has produced its own uniquely designed watches in the heart of Swiss watchmaking. Quality control, assembly, and diamond setting are carried out in La Chaux-de-Fonds, the mecca of watchmaking. Gucci's dial manufacturer, Fabbrica Quadranti, in the canton of Ticino, creates dials using cutting-edge technology and highly skilled handcrafting. This factory also produces watches featuring specialized decorative techniques. Gucci's watchmaking headquarters is in Neuchâtel, a hub of watch design expertise. Today, Gucci is the world's leading luxury fashion watchmaker and continues to create iconic Swiss-made watches. Now, Gucci is taking its watchmaking journey even further, crafting a series of rare timepieces that combine the finest Swiss watchmaking know-how, advanced manufacturing techniques, and exquisite decorative techniques. The new collection celebrates the fusion of Gucci's innate Italian style and unparalleled Swiss expertise, embodied in the brand's first original movement, the GG727.25, developed and crafted at Kering's cutting-edge movement manufacture in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. Measuring just 3.70mm thick, the ultra-thin automatic caliber GG727.25 powers the new GUCCI 25H, heralding a new chapter in Gucci's watchmaking history.

GUCCI 25H
This playfully named watch references 25, Alessandro Michele's lucky number and a frequent presence in Gucci collections. The caliber GG727.25 combines the numbers 7, representing completeness; 2, representing harmony and cooperation; and 5, symbolizing curiosity and freedom.

With its clean, sophisticated, sporty lines, striking contrasts, and cutting-edge technology, the GUCCI 25H marks Gucci's grand debut in the world of high watchmaking. The GUCCI 25H is available in stainless steel, pavé-set, and tourbillon models (in platinum and yellow gold). Designed as a mechanical watch for today, the GUCCI 25H seamlessly combines authentic, contemporary design with the highest watchmaking expertise and technical expertise.

G-Timeless
The G-Timeless is available in five unique designs. One of these is the G-Timeless Dancing Bee, a high-jewelry watch featuring a sparkling bee that moves and shimmers across the dial. This design also includes a tourbillon, showcasing a stunning complication and the stylish touches that Gucci is known for. Other models include the G-Timeless Automatic with a hard stone dial adorned with a bee motif and gemstones, paired with a precious leather strap, while the G-Timeless with a moon phase and the G-Timeless Pavé Automatic with sparkling white diamonds are paired with an alligator strap.

Grip
The Grip collection features five high watchmaking models crafted from precious materials and featuring a jumping hour movement module. The models with hard stone dials (available in yellow and white gold) and the all-18K yellow gold model feature cases set with 44 baguette-cut diamonds. Additionally, the Grip Sapphire, featuring a jumping-hour movement in a clear sapphire crystal case, is available in four color variations: clear, blue, smoky pink, and green.

Gucci High Jewelry Watches
The Dionysus, Lion Head, and Gucci Play High Jewelry watch collections celebrate unique allure. Artistically blending art, craftsmanship, precision, and style, the dazzling brilliance of precious metals and stones strikingly tells the unique story of each watch and its wearer.

The High Watchmaking collection can be viewed by appointment only at Gucci's fine watch and high jewelry boutique on Place Vendôme in Paris.
