Nearly half a century later, the Limelight Gala continues to draw attention with its gold case, sleek bracelet, and beautiful gemstone accents.
The Limelight Gala is named after the Piaget Society, a gathering place for film stars, artists, clients, and friends of the Maison who share the art of living beautifully. Celebrities such as Salvador Dalí, Jacqueline Kennedy, Elizabeth Taylor, Andy Warhol, Cary Grant, and Sammy Davis Jr. have shared unforgettable moments with Piaget.
This newly announced new piece pays homage to the illustrious history of the Limelight Gala.
Limelight Gala Precious Rainbow 11,968,000 yen (reference price)
This is the first time that the Limelight Gala has been featured in a rainbow setting. The five round brilliant-cut tsavorites (approx. 0.91 carats) around the bezel and in the lugs, along with 37 round brilliant-cut colored sapphires (approx. 7.90 carats) in red, orange, yellow, blue, indigo, and violet, are eye-catching. The setting of this creation uses a complex technique called "certy désondeux", which enhances the brilliance of each individual gemstone.
