"The Story of Isobe Isobe" has arrived at Shinjuku Isetan! Isobe introduces New Year's items in a unique way

Isetan Shinjuku is holding a "New Year Festival" on each floor of the main building until December 31st to welcome the new year in a cheerful mood. The store is offering a wide variety of items, from general merchandise and food, to items with zodiac motifs and lucky charms suitable for the new year. In addition, a special website (http://www.isetanguide.com/20161207/geishun/) has collaborated with the mini-animation of "The Tale of Isobe Isobe," which is currently being serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump. The main character, Isobe, introduces recommended New Year items with unique comments. The lineup of products recommended by Isobei includes baby products on the 6th floor of the main building (Maternity and Newborn Floor), such as a 2-way dress (4,900 yen), rattle (1,200 yen), and bib (1,800 yen) with the motif of next year's zodiac sign, the rooster, as well as Shimenawa decorations (8,000 yen), an essential item for New Year's, arranged by popular flower designer Konno Ryohei, at Living Decor on the 5th floor of the main building. Additionally, on the women's goods floor on the first floor of the main building, Mitsukoshi Isetan's original brand, Number Twenty-one, is collaborating with illustrator and designer Akiko Obuchi to create gauze handkerchiefs (1,000 yen each) featuring the twelve zodiac signs. Also available is the unique "Mede Tai Chocolat" (7,500 yen, limited to five per day, 50 in total) featuring a strawberry chocolate rake with green tea chips, from the food floor on the first basement floor of the main building, Sweetness. Each floor also features carefully selected items.
