adidas Consortium will release two pairs of shoes in collaboration with KITH, a New York-based shop founded by Ronnie Fieg: the "ULTRABOOST MID KITH" (¥26,000) and the "RESPONSE TRAIL KITH" (¥21,000).
One of the two, the "ULTRABOOST MID KITH," extends the ankle area from its original low-cut design and features a snug, sock-like sockliner. The cage on the upper has been eliminated, allowing the Three Stripes to be subtly visible. Instead of the traditional Primeknit material, the shoe uses a thicker wool material suited to winter. It also comes with multicolored shoelaces that match the upper.
The other pair, the "RESPONSE TRAIL KITH," offers a lifestyle twist on the "Response Trail BOOST," already known for its toughness and functionality. To keep it high-tech, it features a neoprene collar and speed lacing system. The sole is paired with BOOST, a sturdy and grippy sole.
Available at Dice&Dice Fukuoka, Tokyo, Dover Street Market Ginza, Hankyu Men's Tokyo, Mita Sneakers, Style Daikanyama, Undefeated Okinawa, Osaka, Shizuoka, Tokyo, Yokohama, United Arrows & Sons, V.A., and more.
