Hyatt Regency Hakone Resort & Spa is a luxury resort hotel located in Gora, Hakone, Kanagawa Prefecture, a town renowned for its hot springs.

Located in a lush green area just an hour and a half from central Tokyo, this hotel offers guests the opportunity to relax to their heart's content. Its greatest appeal is its high-quality service and comprehensive facilities, including hot springs and a spa, which will satisfy all guests.

Hyatt Regency Hakone Resort & Spa is a hotel surrounded by the greenery of Hakone. In the living room, you can relax and enjoy the fires of the fireplace.

The entrance leads into the living room, facing the lush patio. This relaxing space, with a central fireplace, reflects the warmth of the hotel. A wide selection of à la carte dishes and drinks is available during the day, and guests can enjoy champagne and coffee at dusk. After 8 p.m., the space transforms into a bar lounge, where guests can relax and unwind with the flickering flames of the fireplace. For meals, the dining room offers French cuisine and sushi, while the small, hidden restaurant, Bels, offers an omakase course prepared by Executive Chef Yasuhiro Kanayama, limited to a few groups per day.

Spa IZUMI offers exquisite treatments to soothe and pamper guests. There are eight treatment rooms, four of which are private and equipped with bathtubs. The concept is to "harness the infinite power of nature to sharpen the five senses and awaken the innate vitality and natural healing powers." Because of their similarities with this concept, the resort offers treatments from two brands: THREE, which actively uses safe and natural ingredients from Japan, and YON-KA, a French spa brand with over 60 years of history.

We recommend checking in early and relaxing inside the hotel. Any regular at this hotel would do just that. The Hyatt Has It in-room service not only provides amenities you might forget, but also lends out yoga mats and speakers, so you can rest assured. Upon arrival, take a relaxing soak in the hot springs to thoroughly warm up your body before enjoying a treatment at the spa.

If you're experiencing physical discomfort such as stiffness or swelling, we recommend THREE's 120-minute Circulation course (29,000 yen, service charge not included). This luxurious treatment combines a facial with a body treatment, using products containing THREE's original blend of essential oils, which promote circulation and warm the body, to stimulate lymphatic and blood circulation throughout the body. If you're concerned about dull skin or dark circles around the eyes, choose Yon-Ka's 90-minute Active Facial course (19,000 yen, service charge not included). Using products rich in rosemary, which promotes circulation and revitalizes, the face and décolleté are thoroughly massaged with hands.

After enjoying the hot springs and spa to your heart's content, you can relax in the living room while watching the fireplace. As you gaze out the large windows at the changing seasonal scenery, you'll surely feel all the fatigue of everyday life melt away.
