LIMI feu presented its 2014-15 Autumn/Winter collection at Ebisu Garden Room on May 30th. This was their first fashion show in Tokyo in four years.

Models appeared from four tents set up at the venue, showcasing the brand's signature mannish and boyish designs with feminine details, as well as designs that accentuated feminine curves.

Oversized shirts and skirts accentuated with ruffled sleeves, jackets and skirts revealing dotted linings, knitwear and dots that outlined the body, and dresses that combined knitwear that accentuated curves with voluminous fabrics. The voluminous coats, menswear-inspired jackets, and draped dresses all combined strength and beauty, the flow of fabrics, and the curves of the female body. The colors used were black and white, with accents of red and gray. "There's no theme. My clothes are for all women. However, recently I've been focusing on the beauty of a woman's curves. I wanted to get rid of the Japanese notion that thin people are beautiful. I often have pregnant women walk in my shows, and the beautiful curves they see at the moment of giving birth are truly amazing. I feel a tremendous eroticism," says designer Satomi Yamamoto. This marks her first show in Tokyo in four years, and her first in two years, including Paris Collection. Regarding her future plans, she said, "There's no reason why I did a show. I just naturally wanted to do a show in Japan. Since my name is in the brand, I want to do it with my own enthusiasm. I know I have to continue doing shows, but I don't feel that I absolutely have to. When I'm not feeling excited about a show, it's better to put my energy into it for the customers who will buy. We're in the age of social media. The whole world can see my work, so I need that kind of energy and toughness. I also feel that I can't lose to my father (Yohji Yamamoto) when I do a show. As for Paris Collection, even if I'm thinking about it, I definitely won't say anything right now (laughs)."
