A pop-up event featuring the new BALLY brand will be held at Isetan Shinjuku from January 21st to 27th. The appeal of BALLY design lies in the modernity inherent in Switzerland. This appeal is etched in the brand's DNA, boasting over 160 years of history, and each innovation has ushered in a new era. Pablo Coppola, who assumed the position of design director in February 2014, ushered in a new era for Bally. After graduating from the Ecole des Modesto, Pablo has had an illustrious career, serving as senior designer in the accessories departments of Céline, Tom Ford, and Christian Dior. In his speech announcing his appointment as design director, he stated, "I will pursue a softer luxury style for real people." So what exactly is soft luxury? The answer was revealed with the "SOMMET" bag, which was released shortly after his appointment. Made from the finest bluegrain leather, the SOMMET bag has become a Bally icon, exuding a soft, luxurious feel with its refined style and high quality. The second release, the SOMMET FOLD, released in Spring/Summer 2015, is an evolved version of the SOMMET. It features a foldover body with a flap and a detachable shoulder strap. Available in two colors: monochrome red and black, and multicolor. A small size tailored to Japanese sizing has also been added, bringing great news for Japanese women. Key points when choosing a bag include: 1. good style (including matching shape and material), 2. weight (lightweight bags are becoming more common), 3. functionality, and 4. balance with the body shape. The fourth point, balance, has recently been gaining attention as an issue related to a woman's beautiful attitude. A bag's true value is revealed when it is in use. The multicolored SOMMET FOLD exudes a sophisticated, fashionable feel, elevating it from an iconic bag to a "heroine bag." At the pop-up event at Isetan Shinjuku, these new bags will be available in limited pre-sale at the Handbags/Promotion section on the first floor. The shoe promotion space on the second floor will feature exclusive items, including metallic sneakers and pumps with the Flexi last, which offers excellent sole flexibility. Graphic pumps that complement the bags will also be available. Additionally, plant hunter Seijun Nishihata will be making cherry blossoms bloom early inside the store. This event will also be held at Mitsukoshi Nihonbashi Main Store and Ginza Mitsukoshi from February 4th. Women are always looking for accessories that will make them shine.
