MARNI will release its seventh collaboration collection with PORTER, "POP COLLECTION," on April 27th. The collection features original designs, with patterns created from scratch, incorporating the pop prints used in the 16SS men's collection. Pursuing functionality and ease of use, straps have been added to the backpacks and shoulder bags. The materials used are lightweight and soft nylon twill bonded. Available in two colors: dark green and white, and navy and red. The buckles are made of metal, even down to the male part. A high-quality part that pops open with just a light push of the button. The leather logo plate on the front is made of Italian domestic calf leather sourced from Marni in Italy, which was skived, cut, and engraved with the logo at the Yoshida factory in Japan. Bags include a new colorway of the collaboration's most popular "2WAY TOTE BAG" (37,000 yen), the "2WAY RUCK SHOULDER BAG" (79,000 yen), which features a unique design that allows the top of the backpack to fold into the top of the waist bag, and the "3WAY BONSAC" (83,000 yen), which can be worn as a backpack, shoulder bag, or Boston bag. The "3WAY CLUTCH" (65,000 yen) can be worn in a variety of styles, with the strap on the back simply threaded through the handle of a suitcase or stretched out to create a one-shoulder bag. Wallets and pouches are also available. The two-compartment pouch comes in two sizes: the "W ZIP POUCH M SIZE" (25,000 yen) and the "W ZIP POUCH S - PEN CASE" (21,000 yen). The round zip wallets will be available in three sizes: the classic "LONG ZIP WALLET" (30,000 yen), "WEEKEND WALLET" (25,000 yen), and "COIN CASE" (16,000 yen).
To coincide with the release of the collection, pop-up shops will be opening in department stores and select shops. They will be at Isetan Haneda Store (Men's) Terminal 1 from April 27th to May 10th, at United Arrows Kanazawa from April 28th to June 28th, and at the event space on the first floor of Hankyu Men's Osaka from May 4th to 8th. They will also be available at permanent MARNI MEN and MARNI MEN'S ACCESSORY SHOP stores, United Arrows Roppongi Men's Store, and United Arrows Fukuoka.
